Childhood and youth

From the very childhood, Elliott was surrounded by sport – his family members were professional athletes. So, his father performed for a squad on a linebacker position. High school football career

Being a junior (it was in 2012), the sportsman made 1790 yards and 39 touchdowns. Besides, the player registered 27 passes for 399 yards and seven scores. His abilities were noted by the judges and professionals; he got the title of the best football player of the year. As one of the most prominent sportsmen in the district, Elliott took part in various football events. College football career

During his freshman year at a college, the sportsman rushed for 278 yards on 35 carries alongside three touchdowns.

At early 2014, Elliott rushed more than 100 yards seven times. Also, that season he ran 218 yards on 18 carries alongside four touchdowns totally while performing at the Championship. As for his other achievements, Elliott led the university to the playoffs for the first time ever.

In 2015 he took part in the Super Bowl running for 242 yards on 31 carries – it was a 44-32 winning match against Alabama team. Subsequently, he got the title of the Offensive Player of the Game again. Having finished his college sports career, Ezekiel Elliott had scored 4,000 rushing yard – it was the second-best result after Archie Griffin’s one.

Professional football career

After completing his education, Elliott decided to take part in the NFL draft. As a result, he joined the Dallas Cowboys team. In May, they concluded a $25-million contract including a $17-million bonus.

In his first match ever, the sportsman registered 20 rushing attempts for 51 rushing yards. Besides, that match (which was against the New York Giants) brought him his debut touchdown. Later, fighting against the Washington Redskins, the player made 21 carries for 79 yards. In Week 3, the Dallas Cowboys performed against the Chicago Bears, and Elliott made near a hundred yards. The following match was against the San Francisco 49ers – the sportsman showed 140 rushing yards and a touchdown. Having faced the Cincinnati Bengals, he made 135 yards and two touchdowns. In total, the player made over 1,000 yards in 2016. November brought his team a successful match against the Pittsburgh Steelers where Elliott made 210 total yards and four touchdowns.

At the beginning of the season 2017, Ezekiel was punished for domestic violence – his ex-girlfriend accused the sportsmen of physical abuse. So, he had to miss six matches. That time franchise’s manager thought about trading Elliott, but changed his mind.

Several weeks later, his squad had to fight against the New York Giants. Elliott made 105 yards and led the team to a 19-3 victory. That time he got injured and was ruled out for 3 weeks. In Week 16, the Dallas Cowboys faced the Seattle Seahawks – the sportsman scored 97 yards on 24 carries. However, his team was beaten and failed to advance to the playoffs.

While performing at the season finale (when the Cowboys fought against the Philadelphia Eagles), the player showed 30 carries for 105 rushing yards and brought his franchise the 6-0 victory. Totally, the 2017 season was closed with 990 rushing yards.

In Week 3, the season 2018, Elliott made 130 rushing yards. The following fight against the Detroit Lions was marked by Elliott’s 160 yards and five receptions. The match against the Jacksonville Jaguars held in October 2018 brought him 110 yards and two touchdowns. In sum, that season was closed with 1,500 rushing yards in total. The player led his franchise to the NFC Playoffs.

In spring 2019, Ezekiel Elliott signed a contract extension with the Cowboys.

Personal life

Speaking about Elliott’s relationships, he was romantically linked with Halle Woodard recently. They announced they were a couple by posting a photo on Instagram. However, there is no precise details about his current relationship.

Earlier, the girl named Tiffany Thompson accused Elliott of domestic violence. The sportsman, in his turn, claimed the two had never been dating. The news provoked a huge scandal, all the highlights in sports press were dedicated to the issue.
