Childhood and youth

Tommy Fury was born on May 7, 1999, in Manchester, England, to his parents John Fury and Chantal Fury. He grew up alongside his three siblings, including his older brother Tyson Fury, who is also a professional boxer.

As a child, Tommy Fury was heavily influenced by his father, who was a former professional boxer himself. John Fury would often take Tommy to the gym to train and teach him the basics of boxing from a young age. Tommy also developed a love for football and played for local teams as a youngster.

In his teenage years, Tommy Fury became more focused on boxing and started to compete in amateur fights. He had a successful amateur career, winning several titles, before turning professional in 2018.
