Childhood and youth

Garnet Hathaway was born on November 23, 1991, in Kennebunkport, Maine. As a child, he grew up playing hockey and other sports in his hometown. After graduating, Hathaway went on to attend Brown University, where he played for the men's ice hockey team for four years.
