Joe Hart is an English professional football player who plays as a goalkeeper for the Celtic F.C. of Scottish Premiership.

    Childhood and youth

Joe Hart was born on April 19, 1987, in Shrewsbury, a town in Shropshire, England. He grew up in the town and began playing football at a young age. Hart's father, Charles, was a self-employed plasterer, and his mother, Louise, worked in a local shop.

Hart attended Oxon Primary School and then Meole Brace School in Shrewsbury. He was a talented athlete and played football and cricket during his time in school. It was during his school years that Hart's talent as a goalkeeper became apparent, and he began playing for local youth teams.

Hart joined the youth setup at his hometown club, Shrewsbury Town, and spent two seasons there before signing his first professional contract with the club in 2003. He made his first-team debut for Shrewsbury in 2004 at the age of 17.

Hart's impressive performances in goal for Shrewsbury attracted the attention of larger clubs, and in 2006, he was signed by Manchester City. He spent time on loan at other clubs before establishing himself as City's first-choice goalkeeper in the 2007-08 season. It was the start of a successful professional career that would see him become one of the best goalkeepers in English football.

    Football career

Joe Hart began his professional football career at his hometown club, Shrewsbury Town, where he spent two seasons in the youth setup before signing his first professional contract in 2003. He made his first-team debut for the club in 2004, but it was his performances during the 2005-06 season that caught the attention of larger clubs.

In 2006, Hart was signed by Manchester City for a fee of £600,000. He initially spent time on loan at Tranmere Rovers and Blackpool before establishing himself as City's first-choice goalkeeper in the 2007-08 season. Hart's performances in goal helped City to secure a UEFA Cup spot for the following season, and he was named the club's Young Player of the Year.

Over the next few seasons, Hart established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League. He won the Premier League Golden Glove award in the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons, and helped City win their first league title in 44 years in the latter season.

Despite his impressive performances, Hart's time at City came to an end in 2016 when new manager Pep Guardiola opted to sign Claudio Bravo as his first-choice goalkeeper. Hart was subsequently loaned out to Torino in Serie A for the 2016-17 season.
