Kirsten Dunst is a Hollywood actress, who became famous after was the lead actress in the worldwide blockbuster Spider-Man. Kirsten Caroline Dunst was born in the state of New Jersey in April 1982. Four years later a son, Christian, was born. Until the age of nine, Kirsten lived in the town of Point Pleasant. Her father worked in a medical company, and her mother was an artist. She painted pictures and owned a small art gallery.

Both parents came from Germany. The mother was also of Swedish descent. Therefore, the daughter from an early age learned German as a second native language.
