Bojana Novakovic: biography
It is interesting that the majority Hollywood celebrities come from Europe and Asia: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jackie Chan, Pierce Brosnan, Gal Gadot, Vincent Cassel, Jason Statham, Russell Crowe, Monica Bellucci, Marion Cotillard, and others. The Australian-Serbian actress Bojana Novakovic is one of them.
Childhood and youth
The would-be actress was born on November 17, 1981, in Belgrade, the then capital of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Because of the unstable political and social situation in the country, the girl’s parents, Radovan and Biljana, took Bojana and her younger sister Valentina and migrated to Australia in 1988.

The early childhood memories stuck in Novakovic’s head, and she decided to become a doctor or a social worker to help people. However, the school literature classes changed the young woman’s career plans: she was eager to become a theater actress.

After graduation, Bojana entered the National Institute of Dramatic Art and finished it in 2002. She debuted on the stage as a student and got episodic parts in several Australian TV series, such as Murder Call, Heartbreak High, WildSide, and All Saints.
Movies
The full-fledged debut took place in 2000: Bojana appeared in Samantha Lang’s The Monkey's Mask. The future Limitless star Abbie Cornish and Susie Porter played the main characters. The next chance to participate in the big-screen movie happened four years later, in Darren Ashton’s Thunderstruck with Damon Gameau and Ryan Johnson.

2006 was marked with Morgan O'Neill’s Solo. Bojana used to work with the director before, in the series Water Rats and All Saints. Colin Friels and Vince Colosimo became the actress’s stage partners.
In 2009, the woman joined the cast of Sam Raimi’s horror Drag Me to Hell starring Justin Long and Alison Lohman. The next year, she appeared in Martin Campbell’s Edge of Darkness and collaborated with Mel Gibson and Danny Huston.

Besides, 2010 brought the horror thriller Devil by John Erick Dowdle, the creator of The Poughkeepsie Tapes and As Above, So Below. Logan Marshall-Green and Jenny O'Hara appeared in the project as well. Further on, the artist was invited to Jonathan Teplitzky’s Burning Man (2011).

The same year, the premiere of the American version of Shameless took place. Bojana joined the cast a little later, in 2015, and received the role of Bianca; one could see her in six episodes. William H. Macy, Emmy Rossum, Ethan Cutkosky, Jeremy Allen White, and Cameron Monaghan played in the project.
In 2012, Bojana worked on the romantic comedy Not Suitable for Children by Peter Templeman; Ryan Kwanten and Sarah Snook personified the main characters. The same year, Generation Um... came out and failed commercially, even though the favorite of millions Keanu Reeves participated there. 2013 was marked with Charlie's Country that was not popular as well.
In 2014, Bojana Novakovic came back to television and collaborated with Greg Kinnear, Miranda Otto, and John Ortiz in the detective series Rake. It was closed after the first season for an unknown reason: the audience’s reception was warm.

In 2015, the artist got a role in another horror, The Hallow, by the promising director Corin Hardy. He is known for the remake of the 1994 movie The Crow where Bruce Lee’s son, Brandon, was accidentally shot. The master of episodic roles Joseph Mawle collaborated with Novakovic in this project.
In 2016, the artist appeared in Westworld, the remake of Michael Crichton’s movie under the same title that came out in 1973. The new version starred Anthony Hopkins, Talulah Riley, Evan Rachel Wood, and Luke Hemsworth.
Personal life
The artist keeps her personal life secret, and nobody knows whether she is dating somebody now. Sometimes, the media speculate about her romances with colleagues, but they are never confirmed.
Present days
Apart from acting in movies and TV projects, the actress is involved in theater work. She likes to ride a bike and practices Muay Thai with her personal coach.

Novakovic regularly posts photos on her Instagram account and even her dog’s page.
In 2017, the actress worked on Beyond Skyline; 2018 brought the movie Malicious and the police drama series Instinct where the celebrity continues to play today.
Bojana Novakovic’s net worth is $3 million in 2019.
