    Childhood and youth

Erin Andrews was born in Lewiston, Maine in 1978. Her mother, Paula, was a teacher, and her father, Steven, used to work as a television journalist and won a lot of Emmy Awards. Firstly, Erin’s family moved to Texas and then to Florida, when Steven became an investigative reporter for the channel WFLA-TV.

Since childhood, Andrews was involved in sports: her father was a fan. They used to watch NBA games together, and Erin found some female sportscasters who became an inspiration for the young girl: Hannah Storm, Melissa Stark, Suzy Kolber, etc.

Speaking about Erin's education, she went to the Bloomingdale High School in Florida, where she mostly liked to hang out with the boys because they had a great common topic to discuss – sports. Erin was rather active; she was a part of the school dance team and a nationwide organization, National Honor Society. Besides, she attended the Brandon School of Dance Arts.

In 1996, Andrews graduated from school and entered the University of Florida, where, in 2000, she got her bachelor degree in Telecommunications. In college, Erin was an active student too: she was a member of an international women's fraternity, Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, and also the university dance team.

    TV career

In 2000, right after the graduation, Andrews was hired by Fox Sports Florida as a reporter on the freelance terms. In 2004, she started reporting for the ESPN National Hockey Night. She has also covered the baseball tournaments like the College World Series, Little League World Series, and Great Outdoor Games.

Firstly, Andrews was a sideline reporter for ESPN College Football Saturday Primetime and Big Ten college basketball games, but in 2005, her duties expanded, and she started reporting the ESPN College Football Thursday Primetime and Major League Baseball too. In 2008–2010 she has been also covering the ESPN’s and ABC’s live of the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

In 2011, Andrews signed a contract with Reebok to promote its brand. In one of her reports, Erin noted that TCU Horned Frogs football players were slipping on the grass due to their new Nike shoes. After that, the conflict of interest appeared, and ESPN asked Andrews to end her deal with Reebok. Also that year, Keith Clinkscales, a former ESPN director, filed a lawsuit against his colleague, Joan Lynch, who had alleged that Clinkscales had masturbated on an airplane sitting next to Erin Andrews.

In 2012, Andrews left ESPN and joined Fox Sports. She became the first host of Fox College Football's studio show. Since 2014, Erin is a co-host of Dancing with the Stars and a sideline reporter on Fox's lead NFL broadcasting team.

Andrews has also been a guest on various talks shows such as The Oprah Winfrey Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, etc. In 2010, Erin appeared on the 10th season of the ABC's Dancing with the Stars, and her partner was Maksim Chmerkovskiy. They took the third place among other ten couples.

Andrews has a net worth of $60 million which is mostly her salary for her sports reports and appearances on the television shows.

Andrews is known not only for her television career but also for her charitable work. In 2010, she was a spokesperson for the Fight Hunger campaign founded by the Kraft Foods Company, a grocery conglomerate. By the way, it raised $2.86 million for the organization named Feeding America.

In 2011, Erin worked with the company StubHub that sells online tickets. They launched together a new national campaign named Girls Night Out that encouraged women to be not ashamed of their love for sports. Women had the opportunity to win tickets and go to the game with their friends.

In case the cancer returns and Andrews is not able to be pregnant, Erin and Jarret decided to continue with a fertility plan of in vitro fertilization.

After the 2017 year, Erin launched a campaign with the women's health diagnostics company, Hologic. The campaign is named We Can Change This STAT, and it encourages women to take annual exams at the doctor’s and also men to remind women in their lives to do these tests.

In 2007 and 2008, Playboy magazine called Andrews the “America's sexiest sportscaster" which is undoubtedly true: Erin is an intelligent woman who is also tall and sexy. Some daredevil even decided to capture this. In 2008, a man who was later known as Michael David Barrett filmed Erin without any clothes or at least bikini in her hotel room in the Radisson Airport Hotel in Wisconsin. Next year, he uploaded in the internet one of his videos where Andrews appeared totally nude and hot. Also that year, Barrett was arrested by the FBI for interstate stalking.

Erin filed a lawsuit not only against Barrett but also against Radisson Hotels and some other organizations for the negligence and invasion of privacy. In 2011, she worked on the new federal law against stalking together with the U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar. By the way, the leaked video Andrews has been trying to delete from the network for some years.
