    Childhood and youth

    Tyreek was born on March 1, 1994, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Later his family (which consisted of mother Anesha Sanchez and father Derrick Shaw) moved to Georgia where he studied at Coffee High School. Being a student, he was already interested in the sport: so, he won both the 100 meters and 200 meters at the 2012 Georgia 5A state meet. The player is purely American – his parents were natives of Pearson, Georgia.

    In 2012 Hill took part in the 36th Golden South Classic in Orlando, Florida. So, in the game held on May 26, he scored a new season-best in the 100 m (10.19 s) and a PR in the 200 m (20.14 s). It was the fastest season result for a junior athlete. The previous time the record was set by Ramil Guliyev in 2009.

    Tyreek was subsequently called “High School Athlete of the Year” in 2012 by Track and Field News.

    College football career

    Having graduated from High School, the sportsman got an education at Garden City Community College where he ran track and was the football team's member. In his sophomore year (2013) Tyreek ran for 659 rushing yards and five touchdowns and caught 67 passes for 532 receiving yards for the Broncbusters football club – almost the best college stats ever.

    Later Tyreek became Oklahoma State University's student. Studying there, he performed for the Cowboys in local championships. So, his debut game was on August 13, 2014. Then, in the match with the Florida State Seminoles, the player succeeded to catch a season-high six passes for 62-receiving yards.

    Almost 2 months later, on September 25, Tyreek made his first touchdown fighting against the Texas Tech Red Raiders and led the team to the victory with three receptions for 50-yards, six rushing attempts for 39-yards, and three kick returns for a total of 62-yards. In the next game, Tyree's team faced the Iowa State Cyclones, and the player made a season-high 148 kick-return yards. On November 11, performing against the Kansas State Wildcats, Hill showed the high result of 102 rushing yards on 18 attempts and recorded his first rushing touchdown.

    Hill started the next studying year at the University of West Alabama. There he joined the Tigers. Interestingly, that West Alabama head coach Brett Gilliland had previously been afraid of Tyreek because of his arrest. To make sure it was safe to enroll this player he spoke to people at Oklahoma State, Hill's former coaches at Garden City Community College, and a high school mentor and was confirmed everything was okay.

    On the field, Tyreek showed his professionality: he used running back (25 carries for 237 yards and one touchdown), wide receiver, punt returner and kick returner.

    Tyreek wanted to apply for the 2016 NFL Draft but had problems with it. So, he took part in West Alabama's Pro Day event. Unfortunately, the player was removed entirely from many draft boards because of the prejudices, but his head coach claimed at least 20 teams to have been interested in him.

On May 17, 2016, Hill signed a 4-year $2.58 million contract including $100,000 guaranteed and a signing bonus of $70,000.

    Due to the stats, Hill held the 40th place on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2018.

    Playing the first week of the new season with the Chargers, Hill returned his first touch—a punt—91 yards for a touchdown. The Chiefs won with the score 38-28 due to his 169 receiving yards. In one of the games, Tyreek managed to record three goals.

    The next week Kansas faced the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Hill caught five passes for 90 yards.

    In 2018, Tyreek and Espinal Crystal became engaged. They met in 2014, and Espinal gave birth to their son Zev Carter in July 2015.

    Legal issues

    Being his girlfriend, Espinal suffered domestic violence. So, it happened in December 2014. One day the woman got a text message where someone said Tyreek had been cheating on her. After seeing that message, as the news said, Tyreek threw her phone, hit her in the face, choked her and punched her in the stomach.

    He eventually pleaded guilty to the battery by strangulation and domestic assault, was sentenced to three years of probation, and was told to undergo a domestic-abuse evaluation.

    Today the couple lives together in harmony as if nothing had happened.
