Vanessa Morgan Mziray, mostly known, as Vanessa Morgan, is a Canadian actress. She is famous for playing Beatrix "Bird" Castro in the MTV teen drama series Finding Carter, and Amanda Pierce in the Family teen comedy series The Latest Buzz. Besides, she has a notable hairstyle – braids – and perfect style of clothes which made Vanessa very special celebrity.
Childhood and youth
Vanessa Morgan was born in Ottawa, Ontario on March 23, 1992, to the multicultural family. As of her parents, she has Scottish mother and East African father. Before fame, Morgan won the Junior Miss America 1999 pageant and graduated from Colonel By Secondary School in 2010.
She entered Queen's University to study philosophy. She has a sister named Celina Mziray.
Vanessa Morgan's acting career started in 2000 – she appeared in VH1's movie A Diva's Christmas Carol. Later, she got the role of Amanda Pierce in the comedy series The Latest Buzz. In 2010, fans could see Morgan playing in the television movies Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars and My Babysitter's a Vampire (as Sarah). The same year, Morgan also acted as 16-year-old Frankie in the flick Frankie & Alice. In 2016 she applied for an audition for the main role of Lyria in the American fantasy drama series The Shannara Chronicles and passed it successfully. That year, she also joined the cast of the teen drama series Riverdale as Antoinette "Toni" Topaz – there she co-starred alongside Cole Sprouse, her best friend. Also, she played in the movie Pimp as Destiny.
