Lauren Hashian: biography
Lauren Kristina Hashian is an Armenian-American singer and songwriter, a daughter of John Hashian, also a musician. Lauren is married to Dwayne Johnson, and they have two kids together.
Childhood and youth
Lauren Hashian was born in Massachusetts in 1984 to John Hashian and Suzanne Hashian-Miller. Her family is of Armenian-American nationality. Lauren’s father was a drummer in the rock band Boston, and he died just two years ago. Mother, Suzanne, is a former Playboy Club Bunny. Lauren’s parents had two other children: Adam and Aja, who by the way is also a songwriter, so Hashian sisters create music together.
Speaking about Lauren’s education, she attended Lynnfield High School and then graduated from the Emerson College in 2006 where she received a bachelor’s degree in public relations and communications.
Music career
In her career, Lauren followed her dad’s footsteps. Since childhood, she has developed a passion for music. After graduation, Hashian worked with the Warner Music Group and later with the Paramount Pictures. In 2005, she appeared on the UPN show R U That Girl as a contestant, and John Hashian was with her. Also that year, Hashian accompanied her father on stage.
In 2006, Lauren was a part of some songs of her dad’s band Ernie and the Automatics. Later, the singer co-wrote the song Only You for the artist YaBoi Shad. She appeared there with her sister Aja. In 2017, Lauren starred in Walter French's music video Go Hard. Also that year, John Hashian died at the age of 67 while performing on stage. He has a heart attack, and of course, it was a huge shock for his loving daughter.

Personal life
In 2006, Lauren met the actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson when he was filming in the comedy movie The Game Plan. In 2007, their relationship officially started. In 2015, Hashian and her boyfriend welcomed their first kid, Jasmine Johnson. In 2018, their second daughter, Tiana, was born.
The couple got married on August 18 this year in Hawaii. Lauren is also a step-mother of Simone Garcia Johnson, Dwayne’s daughter from his previous marriage.
