Jemele Hill is a talented sports journalist who is currently employed by The Atlantic. She is also famous for a dozen of years of work for ESPN, where she had her column and participated in several shows.
Childhood and youth
Jemele was born in winter 1975 in Michigan. The girl was a tomboy and loved various sports; baseball was her favorite. There is not so much information about the celebrity’s parents. Hill and her mother moved to Houston in 1980 but then returned to their home city, Detroit.
Jemele decided to become a sports journalist when she was a student at Mumford High School; she loved books and writing. After graduation, the young woman continued her education at Michigan State University.
Journalistic career
Raleigh News & Observer was the first employment for the beginning journalist in 1997; she was responsible for general assignments pertaining to sport. Two years later, Hill received a job at The Detroit Free Press.
