Childhood and youth

Alanis' parents are Alan Richard and Georgia Mary Ann, his wife. The two were related to the educational system – her mom worked as a teacher, and a dad served as a headmaster. Alanis was not the only child in their family – she was brought up alongside a brother and a sister.
