    Justin Fields who was born on March 5, 1999 is an American football player. He is best known as a quarterback for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League. Justin also appeared in the second season of the Netflix documentary series QB1: Beyond the Lights.

    Childhood and youth

    The star quarterback was born and raised in Kennesaw, Georgia. His father's name is Ivant Fields. Justin's dad played football in college, but never made it to the NFL and eventually became a police officer. Ivant is very supportive of his son's career choice, and Justin credits him as the number one person behind his success. Justin's mother's name is Gina Tobey. Gina and Ivant divorced when their son was a child, but made sure both of them actively participated in Justin's life. The Chicago Bears quarterback also has two half-siblings who play softball and basketball.

    Football career

    The future NFL sensation began playing football at Carl Harrison High School. Besides being a talented quarterback, he was also an exceptional basketball player, but eventually decided to pursue a career in professional football. Following his mother's advice, Justin enrolled at the University of Georgia, where he started as a backup quarterback. After his team lost to the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2018 SEC Championship Game, the quarterback decided to transfer to Ohio State University. During his time in Ohio, Justin won several Big Ten Conference awards and led his team to a 20-2 record.
