Kiernan has had her debut in the film The Angriest Man in Suburbia in the role of Lola. Later, she was offered to play the episodic role in the series Monk. Already in a year, Shipka has tried the role of Sully - the daughter of the leading character in the series about the non-existing advertising agency with "mad" employees. Since the 4th season, she began to perform in this series regularly.

Moreover, in her acting assets the actress has animation works, for example, The Legend of Korra which she has voice-over the character of Jinora, and the fragments in which she has performed the cameo role.

"There is nothing bad in the shoots which take place for eight years. It’s a good school for the actors. I saw how the best of the best do their work, and I had an opportunity to observe it and to learn at them", – the girl thinks.

The representatives of mass media unanimously notice the only feature – despite her appearance with Emma Watson, her name doesn't appear in any scandals and she isn't connected with any intrigues. At the beginning of 2018, it became known that by the unanimous decision of the directors of the remake of the famous sitcom it was Shipka who has transformed into the character of Sabrina – the schoolgirl with magic powers. By the way, the first actress of the role Melissa Joan Hart in a short time reacted at the news about the sequel of the series and published the greeting card on Twitter.
