Emily Ratajkowski is the popular model and actress who was named the most desirable women of 2014. The audience noticed the young woman after she starred in the movie Gone Girl and appeared in the TV show Project Runway.

Emily was born on June 7, 1991, in London. The girl’s parents were American, but she also had Irish, Polish, German, and Jewish roots. Soon after the daughter was born, the parents moved to California where Emily spent her childhood. Emily’s mother is a popular writer and English professor. The daughter said her mother was an intellectual and feminist, although the woman herself did not agree with those definitions. Emily’s father is an artist. Thus, Ratajkowski’s strong interest in beauty was determined genetically.

From the early childhood, the would-be model traveled a lot; for some time, she lived in Ireland and Spain. Frequent resettlement and life in new countries did not prevent the girl from finishing school successfully. Emily Ratajkowski dreamed of starring in movies. When she was a teenager, she took part in several performances and realized she liked that. Emily went to auditions but kept receiving the same answer: she could play only a bitchy teen.

Emily was sure she could do more than that and did not give up. First of all, she had a minor role in the short movie Andrew's Alteration: it was necessary to have anything to start with. In 2005, the actress got an episodic role in the series A Year and a Day.

In a while, the model was offered the role of Tasha in the sitcom iCarly; Emily participated in three episodes. This series told the story of 13-year-old Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) who was creating her Internet channel where school students’ videos recorded at home were posted.

In the second half of the 2000s, Emily was busy with modeling. In 2015, Emily played herself in the comedy Entourage about the actor Vincent (Kevin Connolly) and his friends who challenged Hollywood. The same year, the model played in the mini-series The Spoils Before Dying, the comedy about jazz musicians in the 1950s. Later, the youth music drama We Are Your Friends came out; Emily played Sophie, the friend of DJ Cole (Zac Efron).

Personal life

Emily Ratajkowski has had several affairs. In 2013, the young woman was often seen with the art director Andrew Dryden. However, at the beginning of 2014, the couple split up. No comments followed.

Emily was not upset for a long time. Soon, journalists noticed she was accompanying the musician Jeff Magid. Several months later, the model confirmed she was dating the man. It is unknown whether the young people are still together.

Emily is not going to marry in the nearest future: she enjoys her youth, fame, and life in general.

Present days

The model continues to appear in movies. In 2016, she took part in the comedy series Easy telling the story of young people’s experiments in Chicago. The same year, Emily went to Russia to star in Dima Bilan’s music video “Inseparable.”

In 2018, the thriller In Darkness was released. As the story runs, the piano player Sofia (Natalie Dormer) accidentally witnesses a murder. The melodrama Cruise and thriller Welcome Home starring the model are going to be released.

In fall 2017, Ratajkowski posted the Inamorata Swim photos on her Instagram; she was wearing several alluring swimsuits and also posed topless. Later, to promote her own swimsuit line, the model had a nude photo session in Nicaragua where she had a vacation. There was also the video where she danced a hot dance; it had more than 6 million views in the first week.
